Meet Gia
Gia is a 7 year old female Olde English Bulldog who weighs in at 75 pounds. This dog's adoption fee is $350. If you are still interested, please read more below.
Gia comes to ARF as an owner surrender. Gia is a lovable, lazy Olde English Bulldog who thrives in a calm, relaxed environment. She is looking for a home with no other dogs, and if children are present, they need to be 10 years or older. Gia is a total couch potato who prefers lounging over high-energy play and loves nothing more than hanging out with her humans. She’s not a fan of overly vocal or reactive dogs and tends to avoid barkers whenever possible. She seems to have more issues with smaller dogs but doesn’t randomly bark or react to other dogs in general. One thing’s for sure—she’s not a fan of dogs going under her! Gia would do best in a home that matches her laid-back energy, where she can soak up love and chill in peace. She’s a wonderful companion looking for the right place to call home.
Gia is not well-suited for a home with babies or very young children. As her family's baby has become more mobile, the dynamic has gotten increasingly difficult. Gia struggles with the unpredictability of little ones and does best in an environment without the constant energy and movement of a toddler.
Gia is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, housebroken, and spayed. This dog's family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing. A meeting will not be scheduled until you have an approved application, so if you are interested in adopting this dog, fill out an Online Application today! Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.
We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.
A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals. The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.
If you’re invited to meet an animal:
- Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
- All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.
Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
