Meet Magdalene
Magdalene is one of a large group of amazing cats that came from a shelter in rural Indiana (Auto, Dallas, Dusty, Eedy, James, Magdalene, Mary Ann, Silas, Uma and Una). The entire group is full of super friendly, amazing cats. They all love to be held, crave lots of pets and attention and love to play.
Magdalene is a super sweet girl. She always seeks out attention and loves pets. Her favorite toys are springs and catnip mice. She is a very fun loving girl and always wants to play. She loves to be brushed and get chin and belly rubs. She loves climbing up on the wall climber and seems to enjoy being up high. A nice tall cat tree would be great in her new home.
Magdalene would love to be adopted with one of the buddies that came here with her. They all practically grew up together and really enjoy each other's company. If a single cat is what you're looking for, she fits that bill too. She gets along well with cats and kids of any age. She would probably do just fine with a gentle dog too, given a proper introduction. As long as she gets lots of love and affection, she'll do great in any home.
Magdalene is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed and litter box trained. Magdalene's adoption fee is $135. If you are interested in meeting Magdalene, please fill out our Online Application today!
Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.
We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.
A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals. The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.
If you’re invited to meet an animal:
- Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
- All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.
Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
