Meet Dallas

Dallas is one of a large group of amazing cats that came from a shelter in rural Indiana (Auto, Dallas, Dusty, Eedy, James, Magdalene, Mary Ann, Silas, Uma and Una).  The entire group is full of super friendly, amazing cats.  They all love to be held, crave lots of pets and attention and love to play.

Dallas is a big teddy bear and loves to roll onto his back so that he can get his belly rubbed.  He can hardly wait to get pets and will rub all over your legs, letting you know how happy he is to see you.  His favorite place to nap is on one of the pet-friendly heating pads that he shares with his friends.  He also loves a nice warm lap that he can curl up in.

Dallas would love to be adopted with one of the buddies that came here with him.  They all practically grew up together and really enjoy each other's company.  If a single cat is what you're looking for, he fits that bill too.  He gets along well with cats and kids of any age.  He would probably do just fine with a gentle dog too, given a proper introduction.  As long as he gets lots of love and affection, he'll do great in any home.

Dallas  is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations,  neutered, and litter box trained.

His adoption fee is $135.  If you are interested in meeting Dallas, please fill out our Online Application today!

Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
