Meet Serendipity
Meet Serendipity! Just like her, name, Serendipity was an unexpected and happy surprise. This sweet girl was found outside by a kind family that knew she needed a second chance. Pictures do not begin to show just how beautiful this little girl is. She has been an absolute joy to get to know and watch blossom. She is very affectionate and demands pets on a regular basis. She will reach out to grab at your shirt as you pass by, or give a quiet meow to pull you in. She also gives regular kisses and will groom your hair for you. Despite her dainty frame, Serendipity is very food motivated. She will suck down wet food or treats any time of day. She has been in a foster home with other cats and dogs. Although she occassionally will hiss at other cats, she has not been agressive in any way. She would likely do okay with another patient cat. She seems to enjoy the dogs and will lay near them without any fear. Serendipity has not been around children as far as we know, but can be a bit mouthy in her play so young children may not be ideal. Serendipity is hoping to find a loving home filled with cuddles, snacks, and warm windows to watch out of. She can't wait to meet you!

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.
We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.
A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals. The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.
If you’re invited to meet an animal:
- Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
- All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.
Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
