Meet Cinderella
Hi, I’m Cinderella. Just like my name suggests, I am a pretty princess with humble roots. I have gorgeous brown tabby coloring with a hint of orange – an unusual combination called “torbie.” I came to ARF last month from a shelter in Indiana that had too many cats and not enough adopters. ARF was kind enough to bring me here so I would have a better chance of someone noticing me. I have spent the last month in a foster home getting treatment for an ear infection, but the vet just checked me out and said that I am ready to go to my forever home!
If you see me in person, you might notice that I am a little shy at first and I am a little bit skittish. I might get startled by unexpected noises. If you give me time to settle in, you will see my personality shine! I am very gentle and easy-going. At my foster home I got along just fine with both the cat and the dog, and of course all of the humans. I am sweet and affectionate, and I love attention. When you start petting me, I am in heaven! I curl up and start making air biscuits. I would probably do best in a quieter home without young kids, but I would be a great fit with older kids, teens, or adults who are looking for a cuddly cat. Maybe you have just the right home for me?
Cinderella is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and litter box trained. Cinderella's adoption fee is $ 135. If you are interested in meeting her, please fill out our Online Application today! Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.
We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.
A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals. The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.
If you’re invited to meet an animal:
- Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
- All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.
Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
