Meet Orange Crush & Orange Spritz (*pair)

Orange Crush and Orange Spritz are bonded brothers. Orange Crush has short hair, with more white than orange, while Orange Spritz has longer hair with more orange than white. They’re like the best of both orange worlds, and they both have gleaming amber eyes. They came to us from a hoarder situation, along with seven other kitties. They have bounced back strong from their harsh start in life. They have become delightfully sweet, friendly, playful little nuggets who want to go home together. Orange Spritz is still a little shy, and his brother Orange Crush gives him support. They both took time to come out of their shells with their foster mom, especially when there were seven other kittens competing for attention, so they will need patience from their adopter. They love attention and meow when their foster mom leaves the foster room because they want her to hang out with them longer. Orange Crush is super cuddly, and Orange Spritz is now learning that a lap is an awesome place to sleep. This will take time for them to realize in their new home with new people. They both love food. They are hearty eaters who enjoy both dry and wet food. They are quite vocal when they want a snack. It’s adorable. They can still be a little skittish around new people and with loud noises, so they will not attend adoption events, as events would stress them too much. Appointments will be made with approved applicants for meet-and-greets at Wheaton PetSmart. They should not go to a home with very small children, since fast hand movements still scare Orange Spritz. Large dogs could also be too much for them. Other cats would be great! As mentioned earlier in their bio, they came to us with other cats, and they loved being in a large group of kitties. They also like to watch their foster mom’s resident cats through the gate on their foster room. They would do very well in a multi-cat home after appropriate introductions and an adjustment period. We encourage you to consider adopting kittens in pairs!  There are several reasons why Orange Crush & Orange Spritz will do well together, including:

-Two kittens keep each other entertained - they will play and get all their energy out on each other in time for snuggles with you!

-Having two kittens to play with each other prevents "I'm lonely and bored" behavioral issues.

-Watching two kittens wrestle is quite possibly the cutest thing you will ever see.

-The kittens will teach each other "how to cat" and learn to be more social with humans and people.

-You'll save two lives instead of one!

Orange Crush & Orange Spritz are micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, and litter box trained.

Orange Crush & Orange Spritz' combined adoption fee is $330 ($165x2). Please note A.R.F. does not approve applications for any kitten under 6 months of age to families that live outside of Illinois and/or beyond 100 miles of Wheaton or Glen Ellyn, IL.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
