Meet New Jersey
New Jersey is a petite, one year old Siamese mix. She is a wonderful cat who is looking for the perfect home. She is very people-oriented and loves to be near her humans, cuddling with them and following them around. Like many Siamese cats, she is vocal and will let you know when she wants attention. She loves to play with all kinds of toys. She especially loves chasing wand toys and balls and would love to go to a home with a family who will keep her entertained. She is gentle and would do well with older children (and teens) who are respectful with cats. New Jersey weighs just under 7 pounds and still looks like a kitten even though she is fully grown. In pictures you may notice that her left eye is somewhat small. They vet has examined it and determined that it is just the way she was born and doesn’t affect her at all. It just makes her that much more special!
New Jersey has had some previous bad interactions with other cats and must be the only animal the home, no exceptions. She is currently in a foster home. Fill out an application if you want to meet her!
New Jersey is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and litter box trained.
New Jersey's adoption fee is $300. If you are interested in meeting New Jersey, please fill out our Online Application today!
Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.
We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.
A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals. The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.
If you’re invited to meet an animal:
- Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
- All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.
Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
