Meet Atla and Constanca (bonded pair)

Looking for two kitties that aren’t super-tiny kittens? Atla (2 years) and Constanca (3 months) are for you! Atla andConstanca aren’t mother and daughter, though you would never know it. Atla came into fosterwith 4 of her own kittens, and her foster mom brought in a solo kitten, Constanca, from thesame animal control. Constanca became part of the family, and Atla immediately took on therole of mom for her. Even though Atla isn’t even producing milk anymore and Constanca is tooold to nurse, Atla still lets Constanca “comfort nurse.” They are very sweet together. Atla is agorgeous buff-colored tabby with breathtaking amber eyes. Constanca is all gray (no, she isnot a Russian Blue). She is super pretty, but we’re not going to lie and say she’s something we can’t prove. She’s just a gray cat. They both have very similar docile, snuggly personalities, but also like to play. Atla is very playful for an adult cat, and now that she is done being a mother, she is enjoying playing with little ones again, while also teaching Constanca how to be a cat. Atla prefers Constanca to even her own kittens. They both love feather toys and laser toys, as well as mouse toys and springs. They are both great eaters, wet food and dry. They are lovely ladies who don’t mind being picked up and hugged, either. They both love snuggling on their foster mom’s lap. They are so happy to have been brought together by rescue, and they look forward to spending the rest of their lives together with the right humans.

Both cats are micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and litter box trained.

Their combined adoption fee is $300 ($135 for adult, $165 for kitten).  If you are interested in meeting Atla & Constanca, please fill out our Online Application today!

Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
