Meet Sonny and Siskal (Bonded Pair)

Hello,

we are Sabrena’s kittens, Sonny & SIskal. We are stunning

,

black with some white, actually Siskal is a mini me of our mama with his white crest. We were born outside and were the only two kittens that survived out of the 5 of us so we are pretty smart and

fairly hearty to

have survived out in the wild.  Our mama moved us to an outdoor shed

(she’s just the best)

and a nice lady helped her with us until we were rescued by our foster mom. We are quite the little family, the two of us with our mama, and we play together, hang out, sleep together and all love each other very much.

While we might pretend to be a little shy,

until we get to know you

once you pick us up, we just cuddle and purr and purr.  We never knew how nice it is to be petted and have grown quite fond of it.

And, actually, we found cuddling is amazing too.

We are fairly chatty, especially when it’s time to eat, and have multiple sounds we make, depending on what we’re saying.

We are quite the food lovers so would appreciate someone who agrees with how incredible food truly is.

We haven’t

met any wet or dry cat food we haven’t liked.

Of course, we love all toys and like the cardboard scratcher boxes.

We’ve been with our foster mom since August 7, 2024

,

 and it

’s

been so nice to have had the time to get acclimated to being indoors.  But we are now ready for our forever home.

Being kittens, we think we’d adapt

and

be good with other cats, big and little people, and possibly, dogs, once we get to know them. Sonny and Siskal are

microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, neutered

and litter box trained. Sonny and Siskal’s

adoption fee is $330.00 Please note A.R.F. does not approve applications for any kitten under 6 months of age to families that live outside of Illinois and/or beyond 100 miles of Wheaton or Glen Ellyn, IL.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
