Meet Sabrena
Hi! I am
Sabrena
,
a
beautiful, regal, black cat with a stunning white crest. Somehow, one day, I found myself outside, all alone and in a little bit of a pickle. Shortly after that, I gave birth to five beautiful babies and took refuge in an outdoor shed.
A nice lady did what she could for us but living outside was tough.
Sadly, only two of my babies made it,
but
the three of us
together
are just the best little family.
My foster mom estimated my two
boy
babies
(Sonny and Siskal)
were about 9 weeks old when she came to pick us up and we’ve been with her for the past couple of months, so my kittens could get acclimated to being indoors.
I
personally belonged
to someone
previously
because I am
just the sweetest, most social cat ever
, talking and nudging you to pet me.
I know it’s a
big ask
, but if by any chance you are looking to adopt a cat family, we would make a great one! We all play together, sleep together and love each other very much.
They do say, three
,
is the magic number of cats to have.
However, if you’re just looking for one or another cat buddy, that works for me too.
As you can see from my pictures, I just look at you with that, “I love you” look as you continue to pet me for
however long
. But don’t get the wrong idea, I am not needy, per se, just am happiest hanging out wherever you are.
You
Just pat your
leg,
and I come right on over to you.
While I like to play, my favorite thing to do is pretty
much
just chill. I can chill wherever, e.g., on your lap, next to you, on a cat tree, looking out a window, pretty much anywhere you are. I’m also
very chatty,
but being very polite, I
talk
softly.
I am a true food lover and would appreciate someone who agrees with
how incredible food
is
.
I am not a picky eater,
still like to play with cat toys and am fond of the cat tree and cardboard scratching posts.
I think I’m good with other cats
, and possibly, dogs, once I
get
to know them.
Sabrena
is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.
We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.
A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals. The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.
If you’re invited to meet an animal:
- Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
- All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.
Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
