Meet Arthur Fonzarelli

Ayyyy! Introducing Arthur Fonzarelli aka the Fonz. Fonz was trapped as a part of a trap, neuter, and return program in Chicago, which is why he has an ear tip. The outdoor life was not for him, and he asked to be brought inside!

Arthur has a sweet temperament, and loves to sit immediately nearby or in the laps of his foster parents. He is an expert biscuit maker and will make biscuits in the air, on you, or on a blanket.  He loves the simple things in life; a soft bed, lots of pets and scratches, and food of course!

Arthur loves catnip and string toys. He loves to sleep on the top of a cat tree and nap. He takes great care of his beautiful long black fur, but would benefit from an occasional brushing.

Arthur could be adopted to a home with other pets, but maybe not hyper dogs or kittens. The Fonz is low key and would do best in a quiet home. We have not seen Fonz around children but he’s approachable and would do just fine with older kids.

Fonz is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, and litter box trained. His adoption fee is $135. If you are interested in adopting the Fonz, please fill out an application. You can see more videos and pictures of the Fonz on his foster’s Instagram: @hoteldenny

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
