Meet Army & Spark (bonded pair)

Army and Spark were both the last kittens in their respective litters. They are both very

unhappy without other cats around. We learned that about Army when he had to be isolated

from siblings to get medical treatment. He recovered great from pneumonia, but was

miserable being alone. Spark cried all the time when her siblings were adopted and she was

alone. The best solution? Let them meet, become besties, and spend the rest of their lives

together. Spark came to live with Army in his foster home. The photos in this bio were taken

less than 24 hours after they met. They have very similar personalities, which go well together.

They are both very energetic and playful, and they are now helping each other expend that

energy by playing together almost constantly. They are both also very snuggly with humans.

They like people, and Spark has made friends with her new foster mom. They both adjusted to

their newfound togetherness quickly, which will help them adjust to a new home. They are

also similar in age. Spark is a little bigger, but she also looks bigger because she is a medium-

haired panther. Army is a compact little dude who is incredibly smart and fun. If you’re looking

for a pair of happy, well-adjusted, funny kittens who will be a delightful addition to your home,

meet Army and Spark. You can follow their foster adventures at their mom’s Instagram page,

@gloriawarshaw.

Both cats are microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and litter box trained.

Their combined adoption fee is $330 ($165x2). Please note A.R.F. does not approve applications for any kitten under 6 months of age to families that live outside of Illinois and/or beyond 100 miles of Wheaton or Glen Ellyn, IL.

If you are interested in meeting Army & Spark, please fill out our online kitten adoption application at https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/ today!

Once your application has been approved, an A.R.F. volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
