Meet Muffin
Muffin is a love of a cat looking for a forever home. Muffin lived in a loving home for the first 6 years of her life and then was surrendered to A.R.F. after her human could no longer care for her. Muffin has blossomed in her foster home - she loves to be brushed, getting pets, and she loves laying as close to her foster mom as she can get. She even likes to be carried around by her foster dad (you know, the dad that begrudgingly doesn't want a pet but then falls in love)!
Muffin is a people cat and loves to be in the room with her human at all times - not necessarily in your lap, but love from afar. Once you get to know Muffin and Muffin gets to know you, you couldn’t ask for a better cat. There’s nothing better than a Muffin hug at the end of a bad day. Muffin would do best in a home with an experienced cat owner who understands that it will take her some time to acclimate to her new home and will be the only queen of her castle.
Muffin is, well, what can we say...she's a bit of chonk. Her foster mom keeps her active, and Muffin likes to run up and down the stairs at her foster home. Muffin's favorite toy is the laser pointer, so her foster mom is using that to help get Muffin’s steps in for the day. Watching her go really is something special!
Muffin is a 6 year old female who is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and litter box trained. Muffin's adoption fee is $110. If you are interested in meeting Muffin, please fill out our Online Application today!
Once your application has been approved, an A.R.F. volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.
We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.
A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals. The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.
If you’re invited to meet an animal:
- Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
- All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.
Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
