Meet Violet

Sometimes, the sweetest souls are the ones who find themselves starting over through no fault of their own. Violet was surrendered due to her previous owner's personal circumstances, leaving her in need of a new place to call home. Despite the changes she's experienced, Violet has remained an incredibly sweet and loving girl. She absolutely adores her people, welcomes affection, and is wonderfully easy to handle. She's the kind of cat who reminds you just how special the bond between humans and animals can be.

What makes Violet so special is how much love she still has to give. She doesn't ask for much, just someone to spend time with, gentle hands to give her affection, and a family who will cherish her for the rest of her life. Violet is currently waiting at PetSmart Oswego, hoping someone will see beyond her circumstances and give her the forever home she deserves. Her story may have taken an unexpected turn, but we believe her happiest chapters are still ahead

Violet is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and litter box trained. Violet’s adoption fee is $135.  If you are interested in meeting her, please fill out our Online Application today! Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
