Meet Valentine
Hi! My name is Valentine, and I’m a 2-year-old tortoiseshell domestic shorthair. I would love to tell you a little more about myself. I absolutely adore being around people and am happiest when I’m spending time with my humans. Whether you’re relaxing on the couch or moving around the house, I’ll be nearby keeping you company. I love when people do puzzles because I quite enjoy hanging out with them and knocking a couple pieces off of the table at times. It’s so much fun and my humans find it so funny.
I’m also a playful girl who loves chasing laser pointers and wand toys. I’m always ready for a good game so I would love a home that is willing to have a bunch of toys around the house for me to play with! After some fun play sessions, I’m perfectly content hanging out with my favorite people and soaking up attention.
Because I like being the center of attention, I’m looking for a home where I can be the only pet. In the past, some other cats have been mean to me so I would need to be the only cat in the household. Dogs can make me nervous so I would do best in a home without other dogs or cats. In return, I promise to give my whole heart to my people and be your loyal companion. If you’re looking for a friendly, playful tortie who loves human company, I would love to meet you!
Valentine is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and litter box trained. Valentine’s adoption fee is $135. If you are interested in meeting her, please fill out our Online Application today! Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.
We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.
A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals. The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.
If you’re invited to meet an animal:
- Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
- All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.
Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
