Meet Micky

Micky is a gorgeous girl with thick snow white fur and bright green eyes.  She came to A.R.F. by way of Chicago Animal Control when she was brought there the week of Thanksgiving when her owner died and she lost her home and security.  Her foster mom saw her picture and her story and just knew she needed to rescue her.  Since coming to her foster home, Micky has been a perfect houseguest.  She is neat and tidy with the litter box and loves to give kisses and cuddles.  At 10 years old she  is a young senior but you would never know it by her playfulness and energy!  Micky loves to play with all toys and she gets a real kick out of catnip.  She definitely knows her name and runs when you call “Micky!” She was most likely an only cat at her previous home and being the queen of the house at her new  house would suit her just fine.  In order to give her the stress free life she deserves, a quieter home with adults  would be her choice.  She can’t wait to cuddle up and be your best friend!

Micky

is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations,

spayed

, and litter box trained.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
