Meet Cher
Meet Cher! The purrfectly poised diva!
Hello, I'm Cher, and I'm ready to "turn back time" and find my forever home! I'm a confident and captivating kitten with a personality as big as my voice. My foster family says I have a certain star quality—I'm a little bit of a diva, but in the best way possible. I'm ready to strut my way into your heart with my charming antics and beautiful purrs.
My purr-sonality
A natural performer: I love to be the center of attention and will happily follow you from room to room, narrating my day with my melodious chirps and meows. I have plenty to say, especially when I'm looking for a cuddle or a snack. My expressive eyes and confident swagger make me a true superstar.
Playful and clever: Just like my namesake, I'm a clever girl who knows how to have a good time. A wand toy is my favorite prop, and I can be surprisingly acrobatic as I chase and pounce. I also enjoy inventing my own games and can entertain myself for hours. My brain is as sharp as my claws, and I love a good puzzle toy.
A cuddle bug with style: While I love the spotlight, I also have a soft side. When the lights go down, I'm a total lovebug who will happily curl up on your lap for some well-deserved pampering. My purrs are the perfect soundtrack for a quiet evening of affection. I just want to be with you, "babe."
A believer in love: I have so much love to give, I will make you "believe" in true love at first sight. I am strong enough to handle all your snuggles, and my love will last more than just "one by one."
What I'm looking for
I'm seeking a devoted, indoor-only family who appreciates a cat with a larger-than-life personality. As a growing kitten, I'm looking for a home that will:
"Take me home," where we can have endless fun.
Engage me with lots of interactive playtime to keep my mind and body active.
Shower me with attention and affection, as I thrive on human companionship.
Provide me with a tall scratching post to help me look my best and express my natural instincts.
If you're ready to "believe" in true love, I'm the feline superstar you've been waiting for. With me in your life, you'll never have a dull moment!
We encourage you to consider adopting kittens in pairs! There are several reasons why
Cher
would do good with a friend, including:
-Two kittens keep each other entertained - they will play and get all their energy out on each other in time for snuggles with you!
-Having two kittens to play with each other prevents "I'm lonely and bored" behavioral issues.
-Watching two kittens wrestle is quite possibly the cutest thing you will ever see.
-The kittens will teach each other "how to cat" and learn to be more social with humans and people.
-You'll save two lives instead of one!
Cher
is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations,
spayed
, and litter box trained.
Cher
's adoption fee is $165. Please note A.R.F. does not approve applications for any kitten under 6 months of age to families that live outside of Illinois and/or beyond 100 miles of Wheaton or Glen Ellyn, IL.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.
We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.
A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals. The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.
If you’re invited to meet an animal:
- Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
- All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.
Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
