Meet Shelly & Tide (*bonded pair)
Tide is a sweet, playful, and curious little tortoiseshell kitten who is ready to find her forever home! She was left at ARF's doorstep alongside her mom, Shelly, when she was just around 4 weeks old. Since then, Tide has blossomed into a happy and spirited kitten.
Tide's favorite activities include chasing cat toys, pouncing on string toys, and using her scratching post! She also has a soft spot for squeeze treats and will run to you when she hears one being opened. While she was initially a little shy around people, Tide’s confidence has grown each day, and she's becoming more cuddly and affectionate as she settles in. After a play session, she will happily curl up with you for a nap.
Shelly is an incredibly sweet and affectionate orange cat who has shown nothing but warmth and tenderness since the very beginning. This young, gentle soul will melt your heart with her soft, loving gaze and her affectionate nature. Shelly loves to be by your side, often following you around or curling up nearby for a cozy nap. She’s perfectly content being picked up and will happily rest in your arms or next to you, soaking up all the attention.
Even though Shelly is still a young cat herself, she has been an amazing mom to Tide, providing all the care and comfort her kitten needs. When she’s not doting on her little one, Shelly enjoys playing with toys, watching the world outside through a window, and simply relaxing in a sunny spot.
Shelly and Tide are a bonded pair. Shelly is calm, affectionate, and steady, while Tide is curious, playful, and full of energy. They are ready to bring double the love and happiness to their forever home.
Shelly & Tide are micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed/neutered , and litter box trained.
Shelly & Tide's combined adoption fee is $300 ($165 +$135) . If you are interested in meeting Shelly & Tide, please fill out our Online Application today!
Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.
We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.
A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals. The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.
If you’re invited to meet an animal:
- Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
- All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.
Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
