Meet Colin
I’m Colin and I was found in a woman’s yard. I'm a bit nervous but knew that street life was not for me! I let a woman pet me everyday while she was looking for somewhere to help me find my forever home. I’m nervous but am ready to stretch my wings and fly. I long for a place to call home. I don’t know why but I do let out a teeny tiny hiss when my foster approaches me but as soon as you start petting me I lean into the pet and can’t get enough. Then the purr machine revs up and you know i love my new safe life. I enjoy being held and I feel safe in my foster’s arms. A quieter home is ideal since I’m not a really confident cat. I would be fine in a home with kind cats or dogs. I enjoy to independently play with toys rather than to have someone try to use a string toy. I’m sure I’ll like them eventually but they are a bit in your face for me. Laser pointer toys are a different story. I do enjoy playing with that little red dot! Oh and my foster mom says these picks don’t do me justice so you’ll have to come check me out since I’m told the lighting during my photo shoot was subpar!
Colin is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, and litter box trained.
Colin's adoption fee is $135. If you are interested in meeting Colin, please fill out our Online Application today!

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.
We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.
A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals. The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.
If you’re invited to meet an animal:
- Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
- All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.
Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
