Meet Sabrena

Hi! If you are looking for a true companion, a.k.a. lovebug, here I am! I am Sabrena, a beautiful, regal, shiny, black with white patches, domestic short haired cat. My foster mom says I am one of the most gentle and sweet foster she’s ever had. I never use my claws and most of the time I am nudging and loving on you to pet me. I am somewhat embarrassed to admit, but I do love belly rubs, as you can see from my pics. I also am so chill my foster mom trims my nails, as I’m

doing happy feet on or right by her. Nothing makes me happier than to just be with you, wherever you are.

As you can see from my pictures, I just look at you with that, “I love you” look as you continue to pet me for however long. But don’t get the wrong idea, I am not needy, per se, just am happiest hanging out with you. You Just pat your leg, and I come right on over. While I like to play, my favorite thing to do is pretty much just chill. I can chill wherever, e.g.,

on your lap, next to you, on a cat tree, looking out a window, pretty much anywhere you are. I’m also very chatty, but being very polite, I talk softly. I get lonely if I’m locked up, especially when I can hear exciting things happening all around me, so another cat or even a dog, once I got to know them, would be nice. Or I’m happy to be your one and only too. I am a true food lover and would appreciate someone who agrees with how incredible food is. I am not a picky eater, still like to play with cat toys and am fond of the cat tree and cardboard scratching posts. My foster mom keeps telling me, I’m just the best and she’s looking for my forever home for me to be where I’m supposed to be.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
