Meet Lucky

Lucky is a very energetic guy who loves to play with the laser pointer and ping pong balls.  He also loves to explore, and especially enjoys going outside on his leash.  He is incredibly food motivated; so much so that you might have to watch your sandwiches closely or else he will try to take a little bite of his  own.  Because of his obsession with treats, he's already learned a few tricks, including how to sit, spin around, give you his paw, give you a kiss, and he's working on how to speak now.  Lucky is such a smart guy and would do well in a home where he can keep being challenged mentally.

His older cat sister is not a big fan of him, and all he wants to do is play with her.  Another buddy that is excited to play would be a great partner in crime for Lucky.  His high energy can cause him to be a little feisty sometimes with his foster family.  But, with the right redirection and patience, Lucky is a sweet guy who just wants to spend his days playing and eating. He would probalby do best in a home without younger children, as he can get overstimulated.  And he absolutely does not want to live with a dog.  They are too scary!  We hope that you will consider Lucky for your home.  We know he will make it fun, silly, and joyful.

Lucky is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations,

neutered

, and litter box trained.

Lucky's adoption fee is $135.  If you are interested in meeting Lucky, please fill out our Online Application today!

Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
