Meet Tucker and Monroe (bonded pair)
Tucker and Monroe are the best of friends and must stay together. Their bond is truly heartwarming, and watching them snuggle, wrestle, and groom each other will fill your home and your heart with joy.
Monroe: A sweet and gentle cat who can be a little shy with strangers but warms up quickly once he feels safe. He has endless energy and loves chasing lasers and toys. His favorite type of toys are mice and birds, especially ones that make noise. He adores curling up in your lap for quiet, cozy snuggles. Monroe has a level four heart murmur and an echo discovered it is a troublesome heart murmur. However with the condition he has, he can live a very short time or he could live to the ripe old age of 20. It is uncertain how long he has. There is no cure for his condition. However, there is a medication that can be given that helps prevent clots from forming which is one of the greatest risks to his health. If you take a chance on this pair, despite Monroe’s medical diagnosis, you will not be disappointed.
Tucker: Outgoing and full of energy, with a love for chasing strings! He is curious about new people and places. Jett also enjoys lap time and will happily keep you company during a relaxing evening on the couch. He absolutely loves fresh cold water.
Together these two share a special bond and love to wrestle and play with each other, providing endless entertainment and companionship.
These loving kitties are not only great companions for adults, but they’re also wonderful with babies and toddlers! They’ve grown up in a family environment and are calm, patient, and gentle with little ones. Their personalities balance each other perfectly, with Monroe’s quiet charm and Tucker’s outgoing spirit.
If you’re looking for a pair of affectionate, playful, and unique companions who will bring endless love, laughter, comfort, and joy into your life, these two are perfect for you!
Monroe and Tucker are brothers who are micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, and litter box trained.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.
We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.
A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit all of our animals. The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.
If you’re invited to meet an animal:
- Plan to arrive early, as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
- All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.
Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
