Meet Dreamsicle

Introducing Dreamsicle, the charming and resilient 6-year-old male orange and white tabby who is FIV/FELV positive. Despite facing some health challenges, Dreamsicle embodies the true spirit of perseverance and is a shining example of unconditional love.

Dreamsicle may appear reserved initially, but once you earn his trust, you'll see his vibrant and social nature bloom in full splendor. This darling tabby thrives on forming deep connections with those who show him patience and affection. A little secret to winning his heart? Nourishing him with delicious wet food is the key to unlocking his affectionate and friendly side.

Whenever you enter the room, be prepared to be greeted with delightful conversations. Dreamsicle loves to share his thoughts and opinions, expressing himself through gentle meows and purrs. His unique voice adds a touch of personality to every interaction, turning your ordinary day into a memorable experience.

And who can resist indulging Dreamsicle in some well-deserved ear rubs? These affectionate gestures will undoubtedly solidify your bond and make you feel incredibly special in his eyes. While he adores being pampered, Dreamsicle prefers moments of being held to be brief and fleeting. It's a testament to his independent nature and serves as a gentle reminder that he values his personal space.

While FIV/FELV positivity presents its challenges, Dreamsicle proves that love conquers all. This admirable feline reminds us that life is about cherishing the beauty in every moment, and he radiates joy and resilience in every purr. If you're looking for a companion who will warm your heart, engage in meaningful conversation, and shower you with love, Dreamsicle is the perfect furry friend awaiting a forever home. With Dreamsicle's FIV/FELV diagnosis, Dreamsicle should be the only cat in the home or in a home with another cat that has the same diagnosis.

If a cat or dog is on our website, it is still available for adoption but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, submit a no-commitment application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved in approximately 3-5 business days.

We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.

A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals.  The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we give priority to pre-approved applicants.

If you’re invited to meet an animal:

  • Plan to arrive on time (or early), as we cannot hold animals for any reason.
  • All human household members and dogs (if adopting another dog), must be present in order to be considered as a potential adopter.

Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
